Yes. MEDIPASS is built on open healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR, IHE profiles and SMART on FHIR. Our connector layer translates between legacy systems and the MEDIPASS passport without replacing the provider's existing infrastructure.
Consent is recorded at the document level on the blockchain ledger. Governance follows a zero-trust model: the patient controls access, providers see only what is authorized, and audit trails are immutable. The platform is designed to align with GDPR, HIPAA, DORA and local health data regulations.
